DATE AND TURNAROUND TIME

From deposit to delivery the general time guidelines are as follows:

2 weeks for customisable House Collections

2 weeks on-the-day Wedding Stationery

4 weeks for the Bespoke Design Service

*Please state if your order is urgent upon booking.

*Please note that exact turnaround times are not guaranteed and delays in receipt of materials and /or final mailing list will result in delays to your return date as well. 

DEPOSIT

If you would like me to design your bespoke wedding invitations it is required to provide a 50% deposit to reserve your date in the calendar. After a proof of the deposit, I will create a timeline specifically for your wedding. We will then work together to create your wedding invitation suite. Please read the T&Cs before ordering and contact me if you have any additional questions about this process.  

PROCESS FOR BESPOKE INVITATIONS

1. Fill out the bespoke contact form

Please fill out the bespoke wedding design form.

2. Tailored quote

I'll get in contact with you and collect any extra information I need in order to provide you with a tailored quote. If you are happy to proceed we will convert your quote to an invoice whereby a 50% deposit will be required. I will send this to you along with my T&C's and a wedding details from for you to complete.

3. Design Process

Once I have received your deposit payment and wording I will start the designs and complete artwork by the date agreed on our initial email conversations. General timings are listed above but please make sure you check with me availability upon booking.

4. Approve and print

Approve and print - the exciting part! Your designs will arrive via email as pdf drafts. At this stage I'll need you to double check the design and detail and let me know of any changes required. Once the designs are finalised and have a sign off approval from you, I will require the remaining balance before the artwork is released for print production.

5. Production and Delivery

Once I have assembled your order in full and everything is carefully packaged I will notify you via email and arrange for delivery using a courier service or collection.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

CONSULTATIONS 

Consultations are free and all correspondence between both you and I prior to your acceptance of a quote is free of charge and does not create or impose any obligations.

Prices stated on the website are subject to change and are provided for indicative purposes only. 

QUOTES 

Prior to undertaking any work for you I will provide you with a written quote. The quote will remain valid for 30 days from the date that it is sent to you and it may be accepted by you in writing (email) at any time during this period. Quotes will be provided on the basis of the information that has been provided in the form and on the assumption that there are no additional or unusual circumstances that may apply to the order (e.g short deadlines, changes to delivery address or details ). I reserve the right to request additional payments if the changes require additional work and if any changes are made that are not stated beforehand.

PAYMENT 

Please make payments either via Direct bank transfer, Cheque or Paypal. I only accept payments in pound sterling. Payment details will be provided in your invoice. 

Once I have received payment of the deposit I will commence your order in line with the timescales discussed. The rest of the payment will be required before sending any order for printing.

DETAILS

Details must be clearly typed and correct before sending them over. I will not be responsible for proofreading or correcting any typos, misspellings or mistakes in the details you provide. If you require changes to amend any errors we reserve the right to charge a further fee in respect of the time taken to amend. 

In terms of printed products, I cannot guarantee that the print and finish of the stationery in real life will exactly match what is shown on your screen in the proof. It is recommended that a sample hard copy of the stationery is purchased before confirming your order. 

TIMING 

I will always endeavour to comply with the timescales that are discussed in correspondence. Timings are given for estimation purposes only and I cannot be responsible for any delays that are caused by the matters that are outside our responsible control. Please provide details by the date discussed in order to keep to the estimate timescale we have agreed.

CANCELLATIONS

Unfortunately things happen that mean you may have to cancel your order. I reserve the right to charge for work done to date. For bespoke work, orders cancelled after the proof has been approved by you will be charged in full and the balance is due immediately. Refunds are only given at my discretion.

DELIVERY 

For most orders, unless otherwise requested Royal Mail Special Delivery is the main service used. It is your responsibility to ensure someone is present at the given address to sign for the parcel on the delivery date stated. Delivery costs are paid for by you and an updated estimated delivery time will be stated upon completion of the job. Whilst I package your order as safely and securely as possible, I cannot be held liable for late delivery, loss or damage in transit. Responsibility for damage or loss of goods shall pass to you on the postage. 

RETURNS 

Please contact me in writing as soon as possible if you feel there is a mistake in the order due to an error on my part. If requested by me, you should return the faulty stationery to us in it’s original packaging. I will pay for postage in the event that I accept responsibility for the mistake. 

GENERAL 

Products are for personal use only. Please do not re-sell any of my products, no artwork sent to you is available for re-publishing or re-sale! All designs and artwork are copyright of Sharmila Joy.

Sharmila Joy has the right to use the completed project and any preliminary designs for the purpose of design competitions, future design productions, educational purposes and marketing purposes. 

Sharmila Joy retains the right to display all work on my website, social media, blogs and promotional purposes. Personal details you have provided will be protected and not disclosed. 

BESPOKE DESIGNS

Bespoke designs require an extra cost, and will vary depending on the job. You’ll be given an estimate in your initial quote before work commences. I am happy to make amendments within reason, but reserve the right to increase the fee if a large amount of additional work is required.
